COURTALOU is a group of four beautifully restored eighteenth century cottages set in 2 acres of secluded countryside in the Lot et Garonne, situated between two typical French market towns, Villereal and Castillonnes.
The house and garden are nestled in rolling countryside, completely private, tranquil and totally hidden from view.
The Black Mountains, lake St. Ferreol and many medieval villages are 15 minutes away. There are bustling markets, excellent restaurants, horseback riding, country roads for cycling,

Description of Property
LA CACHETTE sleeping 4 (one bedroom with double and bunk beds) is the smallest of our gites with a lounge, dining area and kitchen fitted with gas cooker, fridge and washing machine. Covered verandah with furniture and barbecue.
There are two other properties at this location La Palombe and L'Atelier.
All properties have gas central heating making it possible for out of season lets.

The area is abundant in history with many chateaux and medieval towns - Sarlat, Monpazier and Monflanquin. Les Eyzies famous for its cave man dwellings and paintings and of course the many vineyards such as Monbazillac, St Emilion and Cahors. There are man made lakes with sandy beaches for swimming and watersports, golf at Castelnaud, Tombebouef and Chateau Devigier, horse riding, tennis and Canoeing on the Dordogne. The local town of Villereal is only 5km, offering all needs for your holiday - supermarket, restaurants, bars, bakers, chemist, post office and banks, pottery shop, antique shops etc.
