The Maison d'Amis which dates from the early 19th century has been carefully restored to provide a high standard of modern comfort combined with old world charm. There are old oak beams in the living area and an original fireplace which houses a modern wood burning stove for spring and autumn evenings. There is direct and easy access to the property from the gravel drive. The living room adjoins the kitchen/diner through a beamed opening. It has comfortable easy chairs and a cushioned ingle-nook to one side of the fireplace. The kitchen area is modern with fitted cupboards, work surfaces, gas cooker with oven, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster and an electric refrigerator. There are two bedrooms, one full size double and one twin. All the beds have new spring interior mattresses and matching bed linen is supplied and laundered weekly. There is a good size built-in wardrobe in each bedroom with ample hanging space and shelves. The W.C. is separate. The shower room has a wash basin set in a tiled vanity unit. There is an adjoining garage for one car, a washing machine, garden furniture and a barbecue. We regret we do not accept children under 7 years of age or domestic pets. There is a wide variety of sports facilities available. An inland beach with swimming and water shute at the Lanquais leisure park as well as horse riding, golf, cycle hire and tennis are all within a short distance of our village. This is ideal walking country and there are many meandering country lanes for you to choose from.

Please note that the prices quoted are for the property per week, and not per person. French francs accepted at current exchange rates, American dollars by arrangement. There is a 10% discount for couples during the month of May only.
