Maison Noisette is set in a courtyard of three holiday cottages and the english owners house, located in a hamlet on the South facing slope of a secluded and sheltered valley. The property, standing in three acres of private gardens, is set well back from the D767 and only a few minutes from the unspoilt Breton village of St Mayeux. The village has excellent facilities including a small supermarket, Post Office, Church, friendly Bar and a typical village shop selling just about everything! Only ten minutes drive from the stunning Lac de Guerledan and five minutes from the busy market town of Mur de Bretagne, our location is ideal for lazy or active family holidays.

Maison Noisette is a delightful 3 bedroomed house, sympathetically renovated from a 16th Century Barn during the past 18 months. The house overlooks a sunny courtyard and has a private terrace and garden to the rear equipped with patio furniture and BBQ. The beamed open-plan ground floor has a comfortable lounge area with a woodburning stove, dining area with seating for up to 10 people, a fully equipped modern kitchen with microwave and washing machine, and a downstairs WC. On the first floor there are two very generous double bedrooms, both with seating areas, and a comfortable twin room with 2 full size beds. (The double rooms both have room for a baby cot, which can be provided with other baby equipment if required at no additional cost) The bathroom, with WC and powerful shower is also upstairs. Our prices include all heating, gas and electricity we include a comprehensive 'welcome' pack. Linen and towels are also provided. Our houses are all equipped with good quality CD players and an excellent selection of books and indoor and outdoor games for relaxation!

Places of Interest

The Lac de Guerledan and the Nantes to Brest Canal, both within ten minutes drive, provide a full range of watersports ?including safe swimming, waterskiing and canoeing, as well as excellent fishing. The area is renowned for on and off road cycling, pony trekking and rambling, making the most of the stunning wooded scenery. Gastronomy, as always in France, is high on the list of priorities for guests with a fine range of inexpensive restaurants and cafes in the area. For touring and shopping there are plenty of interesting towns to visit, many with beautiful medieval architecture, and both the north and south coasts are within 45 minutes drive. Other activities in the Summer include the traditional 'Fest Noz' dances and 'Pardons', as well as local food and craft markets throughout the week. We are able to book many activities in advance for our guests, and are happy to research less usual activities on behalf of guests if requested. Please note that Easter and Christmas/New Year are MEDIUM Price periods.
