Plenty of activities are available in the area, from pleasure cruises along the river to canoeing! There are lakes located nearby where you can swim, fish, sunbathe, or hire a pedallo. Cycling is popular and cycle hire is available locally. If cycling is a serious interest and you wish to bring your equipment with you, there are secure lockup facilities for your bikes. Charming, sleepy villages are not hard to find, all offering a little something special, from local markets and fine cuisine, to well known tourist attractions. Local restaurants offer varied menus to suit all palates. If you are a wine enthusiast, you will also find plenty to interest you here. Local growers sell direct and a number are within walking distance! Whatever you decide a holiday means, whether it is doing as little as possible, relaxing and unwinding, or an action packed adventure, fitting in every possible tourist site, the Lot valley will not disappoint. Add to this the beautiful sunshine and sunflowers which cover the region during the summer months and you have the perfect recipe for a memorable holiday.

A fully independent luxury gite, annexed to the main property, with its own private entrance. The main living area is open plan, and benefits from a modern, newly fitted kitchen with all amenities, including electric oven and hob, washing machine, fridge, espresso machine and breakfast bar. There is a separate dining area and a large living space with TV and DVD player. The lower floor is completed by a private terrace. On the mezzanine floor is a double bedroom with fully fitted en-suite bathroom. There is also a small utility room with space to hang your clothes, a fold up bed, portable heater and fan etc. The gite is perfect for 2 persons + 1 (folding bed). For families, the gite can be rented with one or two of our B&B rooms. Each has its own private entrance and en-suite bathroom, making the gite suitable for up to 6 persons. Guests are welcome to make use of the back terrace (in addition to their own private terrace), as well as the garden. The gite is not suitable for very young children.

Places of Interest

We are situated in the very heart of the Cahors wine region, with a number of vineyards within easy walking distance. Duravel itself has 7 vineyards and Puy L\'Eveque over 15. The region as a whole has litterally hundreds of vineyards. Most welcome visitors and sell direct from their premises. Chateau de Bonaguil is located a short drive away, and the region is full of charming, pretty villages. The area is ideal for walking and cycling is also very popular. The region also has many local markets where you can buy local produce. Cahors is only a half hour drive away, where you can visit the famous Pont Valentre.
