The house is located in its own 85 acre estate, comprising of both woodland and pasture, with a private terraced 12m x 6m swimming pool. The local river, Le Palais, forms a natural boundary and has a clear walkway along the bank of the river on the south east boundary of the property. Ideal for a leisurely riverside stroll. Situated close to Bordeaux and Angouleme, Domaine des Quatre Puits is conveniently located for easy access to several nearby airports (Bordeaux Merignac, Bergerac, La Rochelle, Limoges or Poitiers) and TGV stations (Bordeaux, Angouleme). Domaine Des Quatre Puits is the ideal holiday spot for anyone wishing to experience the tranquillity and authentic rural experience of the French Countryside. Group bookings welcome on an accomodation and breakfast basis.

The stunning Grande Maison was built in the 18th century, with some parts of the house dating back even further. It has now been renovated by a family from England to provide luxury accommodation all year round. Bed & Breakfast accommodation comprises of 6 Luxury rooms/suites which together can sleep up to 16 persons. Luxury Rooms/Suites are available to cater to your needs, whether for one night or longer and a continental breakfast is included in the price. Prices quoted above are per room/suite per night. All rooms/suites have private en-suite bathrooms with either a shower or a bath/shower. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided. Cots are available on request. Large groups are welcome on an accommodation and breakfast or self catering basis. The main house and gites are available to rent as a whole sleeping up to 38 persons.

Places of Interest

Montguyon, The Ville, was originally a medieval town, now it is a bustling market town, the castle ruins are still visited by many tourists each year. On the first Wednesday of every month market stalls line the streets selling fresh local produce. Montguyon also offers a wide range of local amenities including restaurants, bars, shops, bakers, butchers and banks. Local folk festivals are held during certain times throughout the summer months as well as a fantastic medieval celebration held in July. For those wishing to enjoy beach activities there is Beau-Vallon, a recreational lake with sandy beaches situated on the outskirts of Montguyon. Beau-Vallon offers free parking, clean water for swimming and boating, childrens shallow area for paddling, a childrens play area, restaurants and open air BBQ. A great day out for families with children or a place for adults and young adults to chill out.
