The chalet is located above la Chapelle d'Abondance in the French alps near Lake Geneva in the Haute Savoie. La Chappelle d'Abondance is an ancient Alpine village and well known for its traditional restaurants. It is a farming community with an air of charm and with rustic farms dotted throughout the valley. A perfect village for walking -the chalet is on the route of the GR5- and other summersports. You can play a game of golf on one of the 10 courses in our region (we recommend the Evian golfcourse for its beautiful view of the lake), follow a mountain bike trail, or do all sorts of watersports.

Chalet la Côte dates back to the 18th century and is newly renovated and has 4 bedrooms ensuite facilities and a large alpine living room. The kitchen is full equipped and is ideal for dinner parties. There is a barbecue in the terrace besides the swimming pool. The chalet has magnificent views of the valley and has beautiful alpine surroundings.

Places of Interest

Evian, a lovely old town on the edge of the lake surrounded by trees and lawns is only 30 minutes drive away. Here you can sunbathe or swim in the lake and it is well worth a visit to where Evian Water originates. In Val D'Illiez and Lavey les Bains you can swim in the thermal springs. You can visit Chamonix at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe. And there are more historical towns worth a visit Amphion and Yvoire in France and Geneva, Lausanne, Montreux and Martigny in Switzerland.
